The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has confirmed the repatriation of 62 nationals from the Republic of Mali through the Illela Border Command in Sokoto State.
According to a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja, the Controller of the Illela Command, Mr. Tony Akuneme, disclosed that the repatriated persons comprised 51 males and 11 females.
