The Federal Government has announced the arrest of 347 suspects for illegal mining, with 143 prosecuted across the country since mining marshals began operations in 2024.
The Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, made this disclosure at a press conference marking the one-year anniversary of the marshals’ operations.
