A man identified as Thomas, said to have taken substances suspected to be hard drugs, has been reported missing after he reportedly fell into the river at Pessu Waterside in Pessu market, Warri, Delta State.
The incident occurred on Thursday, January 30 at about 5pm, DAILY POST can report.
He was said to have taken the drugs which also intoxicated him, leading him to the river.
Efforts to get him out of the river by speedboat riders and traders were unsuccessful as he couldn’t be found.
