Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton died after suffering broken ribs during a fall at a care home, an inquest has heard.
Cheshire Coroners Court heard that the 86-year-old lost his balance as he stood up from a chair and struck a window sill and “possibly a radiator.”
Charlton was checked at the time and there were no visible injuries detected.
