Lennard Kamna (Bora-hansgrohe) completed his set of Grand Tour wins on Stage 9 at the Vuelta a Espana as more wild conditions led to organisers taking timings 2.6km from the end.
The German – a winner at the Tour de France in 2020 and Giro d’Italia in 2022 – battled up the muddy final climb to take a fine solo victory, and complete the Grand Tour stage hat trick.
