Operatives of the Kwara State Police Command, on Friday discovered a newborn baby under a bridge in IIorin, the state capital.
The baby was found abandoned under the Oke-Foma bridge, Ita-Nma area of Ilorin metropolis.
The baby was abandoned by an unidentified person, was evacuated by the police operatives at about 12.10pm on Friday.
DAILY POST could not confirm whether the abandoned baby was dead or alive at the time of evacuation.
